To quote myself in this chapter's title page, “This chapter is going to be a really short one”. Yep, it’s just 5 pages.

No other chapter will be this short, though. If I manage to stick to my plans, all following chapters will be ~22 pages long each.

I am not sure what Ryan’s doing with his hand in the first panel; I am just trying not to have a bunch of panels that look identical. I really like the 4th panel here, it shows me how much my drawing skills have improved since I started the comic. If I wanted to make a panel that looked this good back then, drawing it would have taken me the time it takes me to draw a whole page nowadays.

I'll probably take a break from this comic now. I expect it to take at least a month before the next update.

I really dislike drawing profiles. Why I chose to draw so many of them in the previous couple of pages is beyond me.

Even if you don't like drawing profiles you're quite good at it, you don't have the problem I have where profile-view looks like a completely different person.

somethin tells me his room might still end up affected...

Maybe, but I feel my profiles look a bit unnatural.

We’ll see about Owen’s room, eventually.

"Oof", says my predictative cortex when I fear my head is going to overshoot my pillow and smash into the wall.
