Owen, those first two lines of dialog are not necessary at all.

Not that it matters, but since this long hiatus, I made some changes how I do the pages, including a slight change in size (they’re going to be taller now, which may allow for a little more text, not that I write a lot of text, anyway). The biggest change was that I switched from MyPaint & GIMP to MyPaint & Inkscape.
(On an unrelated note, I also switched my operating system from Lubuntu to Arch Linux.)
Basically, Inkscape is far more lightweight than GIMP, which is nice considering I use a rather old computer, and I can do with it everything I was doing in GIMP (for the purpose of drawing comics, that is). Except in Inkscape everything is a lot easier, and I can be a lot more precise and consistent with panel layout.
P.S.: Oh man I hate drawing hands. That last panel took me much longer than I care to admit. To make matters worse, I’m too stubborn to draw using references, even though I know I’m guaranteed to fail.

UPDATE (2016-01-29)
I actually went back and fixed the old pages, so now all have the same image, border, and font sizes. I changed the art as little as possibly could, so anyone who’s already read those pages will likely be unable to notice any differences at all. I'll keep this standard 'til the end of the comic, so I won't need to do anything like that again. It was real pain, and it took me precious time in which I could be actually drawing new pages.
I actually deleted the original .xcf (GIMP) files, so I can’t do this kind of editing even if I want to. Of course, I still have the high-res .png files, so I can do minor fixes like correcting grammatical mistakes and stuff like that, if needed.
Thanks for subscribing, by the way!
