I say came back from the hiatus, upload two pages and go back into hiatus for a few months with no warning. And to make things worse, the first page I post after the hiatus is the most uneventful page of the whole comic. Possibly of all comics.
I’m really, really sorry about this, to anyone who reads this comic. I’ve been feeling really crappy for no apparent reason, with no will to draw or write anything.
Also, drawing has been really hard the past few months. My wrist isn’t in a very good condition, and somethimes I can’t draw for more than about twenty minutes before it starts hurting really bad.
I am trying to solve this problem, and hopefully will be able to get back to the regular update schedules soon. I’ve installed a tool called RSIBreak to help me with my wrist. It basically forces me to take a short break every few minutes, and a longer one once an hour. My wrist is hurting less since I started using it, but still hurts a little.
I’ve been seriously considering having someone else draw the comic, while I do only the writing. I just don’t know where to find someone who would be willing to do so.
Another problem is the fact that this page was almost finished before I got back into a hiatus. I was just so pissed at how bad it looked that I said screw it and closed the drawing program and never opened it again. I ended up redrawing the whole thing once I finally decided I should continue drawing this comic. I really need to improve my drawing skills.
Take all the time you need. If you need to go on many hiatuses or change the way in which the story is told, I completely understand, wrist pain is not something to be taken lightly.
Breaks are good
Glad to see you're back
Also this strip was way funnier than I anticipated.
